Masnouneh (Arabic pronunciation: مسنونة) was a style of pop music that emerged from Egypt with specific lifestyle starting in the late 1980s till the end of 1990's in the city of Latakia, Syria. The term "Masnouneh" was derived from the people who was emerged in that era, basically from Latakia city, Al Sleibeh district and Baghdad street and their neighboring districts.
