Miami Confederacy

The Miami Confederacy refers to a collection of closely related Native American tribes in 18th-century North America. The tribes included the Miami centered in Kekionga (modern-day Fort Wayne, Indiana) and their nearby Eel River band, the Piankeshaw centered near modern-day Vincennes, Indiana, the Kickapoo near modern Terre Haute, Indiana, and the Wea centered near modern-day Lafayette, Indiana.
