Minister of Environment and Climate Change (Canada)
The Minister of Environment and Climate Change (French: Ministre de l'Environnement et du Changement Climatique) is the Minister of the Crown in the Canadian Cabinet who is responsible for overseeing the federal government's environment department, Environment and Climate Change Canada. The Minister is also responsible for overseeing Parks Canada and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. Noted environment ministers of the past have included Jack Davis, Roméo LeBlanc, Jean Charest, Stéphane Dion, Sheila Copps, David Anderson and Peter Kent.
