Montiano

Montiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Forlì-Cesena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southeast of Bologna and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Forlì. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,573 and an area of 9.3 square kilometres (3.6 sq mi). The municipality of Montiano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Badia and Montenovo. Montiano borders the following municipalities: Cesena, Longiano, Roncofreddo.
