National Division One (shinty)

The National Division One is a league for shinty teams. It restarted in 2014 having been in abeyance since 2006. It is the second tier of the Shinty league system. National Division One was initially formed in 1999 but was abandoned in 2006. Its reinstatement for 2014 was not without controversy due to opposition from several clubs, but led by Skye Camanachd. In 2016, the following teams make up the division. * Ballachulish * Beauly * Bute * Caberfeidh * Glasgow Mid Argyll * Inveraray * Inverness * Kilmallie
