Nottinghamshire Police

Nottinghamshire Police is the territorial police force responsible for policing the shire county of Nottinghamshire and the unitary authority of Nottingham in the East Midlands of England. The area has a population of just over 1 million. The force headquarters are found at Arnold. As of March 2013 the force had an establishment of 2,095 police officers, and 381 Special Constables. The Chief Constable is Chris Eyre, who has held the post since September 2012.
