Oberonia titania
Oberonia titania or Soldier's Crest Orchid is a member of the Oberonia ("Fairy Orchids"), and is found in Java, North Queensland, New South Wales, New Caledonia and Norfolk Island. An epiphytic clumping orchid, it grows on trees in Melaleuca swamp forest habitat, rainforest and damp gullies; highly localised. Flowers from January to June. Racemes 30–80 mm with small (1.2 × 1 mm) pinkish flowers with red labellum in whorls of 6 to 8. It is considered to be a vulnerable species by the NSW government.
