Racism existed in many manifests within the Soviet Union, it came in the form of social discrimination to outright ethnic cleansing. Despite the Soviet Union's policy against racial hatred it enacted racially motivated laws and actions such as the population transfers, and it's citizens exposed racial hatred in instances such as the pogroms of the Nagorno-Karabakh War.
