San Diego City College (known more informally as City College or City) is a public, two-year community college located in San Diego, California. City College is part of the San Diego Community College District along with San Diego Mesa College, San Diego Miramar College and San Diego Continuing Education. City, as well as Mesa and Miramar belong to the California Community College system along with 109 other public community colleges. City, along with the other two colleges and Continuing Education campuses, are in the midst of $1.555 billion in new construction and renovations.
