Saskatchewan Highway 44
Highway 44 is a highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It runs from Highway 7 near Alsask to Highway 11 near Davidson. Highway 44 is about 331 km (206 mi.) long. Highway 44 crosses the South Saskatchewan River atop the Gardiner Dam. It also provides access to Danielson Provincial Park. The road has been in poor condition for years. Travel for most of 2015 proved quite difficult for many motorist who did not have large vehicles such as farm equipment or a truck. Use this road with caution! Not all troubled spots are identified and new hazards emerge regularly.
