Sima Diab (Damascus, November 1979), is an Syrian-American photographer and press photographer who has portrayed the convulsions of her country, Syria, in 2015, that suffers a civil war from 2011. Her career as a photographer started in 2006 and she is a professional photographer since 2013. Her works have been published in the most important newspapers written in English around the world, like The New York Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, and others. She has been granted in the 2015 Arab Documentary Photography Program from AFAC / Prince Claus Fund / Magnum Foundation.
