It is run under the aegis of the Canossian Daughters of Charity, the international congregation found by St. Magdalene of Canossa, of Verona, Italy [1]. St. Magdalene of Canossa who considered education as one of the stated missions of the Canossians has expressed her belief that "Education is the most demanding sector of the apostolate but it is the most effective since it normally determines one's conduct of life." This is the only college under the Canossian aegis.
