Sunny Taylor (née Adamson; also referred to as Sunny McClure Adamson) is a fictional character in the now cancelled American Soap Opera, Search for Tomorrow. She was played through the show's end in 1986, by actress Marcia McCabe. Later on, however, in one of Search's most powerful storylines, Sunny was raped by co-worker Jack Benton (Patrick James Clarke). She went through the stages of dealing with the rape. She eventually recovered from the rape, and understandably was reluctant to date once again. Sunny stayed in Henderson, even through the flood of 1986 and remained until the show's end.
