TAN Books & Publishers is a Traditional Catholic book distributor and publisher, now in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was founded in 1967, in Rockford, Illinois, by Thomas A. Nelson, the "TAN" standing as a monogram for Mr. Nelson's initials. Following financial problems which led to bankruptcy, TAN was acquired by Saint Benedict Press (LLC) in 2008. In 2013, TAN acquired Neumann Press, a Catholic reprint house.
