Tad Gormley
Francis Thomas 'Tad' Gormley (Dec. 23, 1883–Dec. 5, 1965) was the former head of the New Orleans Gymnastics Club and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). He was a native of Cambridge, Massachusetts and in 1907 moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to run the Young Men's Gymnastic Club. The former City Park Stadium in City Park, New Orleans was renamed Tad Gormley Stadium in his honor. He was the uncle of Joseph L. Gormley.
