It stars Buddy Ebsen as Vice President Kermit Madigan, Raymond Massey as Secretary Of State Freeman Sharkey, Rip Torn as National Security Adviser George Oldenburg, Mercedes McCambridge as Hester Madigan, and Tod Andrews as President Jeremy Haines.
