This Modern Age is a 1931 American Pre-Code Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer feature film directed by Nick Grinde starring Joan Crawford, Neil Hamilton, Pauline Frederick and Albert Conti. The film was based upon the story Girl's Together by Mildred Cram, and follows the story of a socialite girl deciding between the social sins of her mother and a comfortable life in the arms of a rich suitor.
