Trolls: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the official soundtrack to the 2016 DreamWorks Animation film Trolls. The soundtrack was released through RCA Records on September 23, 2016, and was made available for pre-order on July 14. The digital pre-order was made available on September 16. The film is inspired by the Troll dolls which became popular in the 1970s. The soundtrack is produced primarily by Justin Timberlake, along with Max Martin and Shellback as additional producers. It features work from Timberlake himself, as well as acts such as Anna Kendrick, Ron Funches, Zooey Deschanel and Gwen Stefani, all of which play characters within the movie, as well as Ariana Grande and Earth, Wind & Fire.
