USFC Grampus

USFC Grampus was a fisheries research ship operated by the United States Commission of Fish and Fisheries, usually called the United States Fish Commission, and its successor, the United States Bureau of Fisheries, beginning in 1886. She was a schooner of revolutionary design in terms of speed and safety and influenced the construction of later commercial fishing schooners.
