United States presidential election in the District of Columbia, 2016

The 2016 United States presidential election in the District of Columbia was held on November 8, 2016, as part of the 2016 general election in which all 50 states and the District of Columbia participate. D.C. voters will choose electors to represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote. On March 12 and June 14, 2016, voters chose delegates to the Republican and Democratic National Conventions respectively. The District of Columbia has voted for the Democratic ticket in every election since 1964, which was the first election in which DC voters were allowed to participate.
