The station went stereo during "Tommy's " 11am - 2 pm Tuesday show, who was the Music director from 1975-78. He selected the prologue from the soundtrack to the movie "Tommy "which provided listeners with an intense train sound separation effect just before Tommy's birth occurred symbolizing a new era for the station, now in stereo.
