Released on February 7, 2005, the album has gained much critical acclaim for successfully splicing several genres of rock, forming an original sound. It is also notable for a techno oriented track ("Newspeak") which references George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The album received some additional female backing vocals.
