Yugoslav Second League

Yugoslav Second League (Serbo-Croatian: 2. Savezna liga/ 2. Caвeзнa лигa) was the second tier football league of SFR Yugoslavia. The top clubs were promoted to the top tier, the Yugoslav First League. The Yugoslav Second League was played between 1946 and 1991. Although the Yugoslav First League was played since 1923, in the period prior of 1945 the league system was different and a Yugoslav Second League never existed as such.
