Vegetation

A Vegetation object is an area of ground surface that naturally supports, or can support, living plants. Vegetation includes pastures and woodlands, as well as heath, bog and marsh. Vegetation is the default object for road and rail verges, the central area of roundabouts and traffic islands and medians. Note that a surface of natural clay, although not vegetation, is potentially supportive of vegetation and so is included without separate distinction, in the Vegetation Form "Grass/Clay Surface". A "clay" tennis court is not clay in terms of the Vegetation definition - it is classified as an Artificial surface. Whereas a private garden usually supports plant life, in Geoff it is regarded as an Artificial Surface.
