The temple of the moon god Nanna/Suen/Sîn at Ur from the third to first millennium B.C. Over the course of its long history, it was rebuilt (and expanded) numerous times. A few of its more famous builders were Narām-Sîn of Agade, Ur-Nammu of Ur, and Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon.
