Antisemitism in Sweden

The Jewish community in Sweden have been prevelant since the 18th century. Today Sweden has a Jewish community of around 20,000, which makes it the 7th largest in the European Union. Surveys show that antisemitism still exists in Sweden. The 2006 study "Antisemitic images and attitudes in Sweden", conducted by Henrik Bachner and Jonas Ring, revealed that 1.4 percent of the population disagrees with the assertion that "Most Jews are probably decent folks".
