Hispanic and Latino Americans

Hispanic and Latino Americans (Spanish: estadounidenses hispanos y latinos, Portuguese: Americanos hispânicos e latinos) are Americans of Spanish or Latin American ancestry. More generally, these demographics include all Americans who identify as Hispanic or Latino (regardless of ancestry). As of 2018, the Census Bureau estimated that there were almost 60 million Latinos living in the United States (about 18% of the overall population).
