Joaquín Ramiro

Joaquín María Ramiro (1800–1867) was an Argentine military man and politician, who took part in the Argentine War of Independence and Brazilian War. He also took an active part in the confrontations between Unitarios and Federales occurred during the Argentine Civil War. He also held honorary government posts, including his services as Edecán of Juan José Viamonte and Juan Manuel de Rosas, and during the presidencies of Justo José de Urquiza and Santiago Derqui. He was an active Mason belonging to the orders , founded by José de San Martín, and the of the Old Scottish Rite.
