Ramón Monzant

Ramón Segundo Monzant Espina (January 4, 1933 – August 10, 2001) was a 6 ft (1.83 m), 165 lb (75 kg) right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the New York and San Francisco Giants in all or parts of six seasons between 1954 and 1960. He compiled a 16–21 record with a 4.38 earned run average (ERA) and 201 strikeouts in 3162⁄3 innings. Monzant was named to the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006, and was named to the Navegantes del Magallanes Hall of Fame in 2012.
