Vlachs

Vlachs (English: /ˈvlɑːx/ or /ˈvlæk/), also Wallachians (and many other variants), is a historical term and exonym used from the Middle Ages until the Modern Era to designate mainly Romanians but also Aromanians, Megleno-Romanians and other Eastern Romance-speaking subgroups of Central and Eastern Europe. Nowadays, Eastern Romance-speaking communities are estimated at 26–30 million people worldwide (including the Romanian diaspora and Moldovan diaspora).
