Strzyżów County (Polish: powiat strzyżowski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, south-eastern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Strzyżów, which lies 24 kilometres (15 mi) south-west of the regional capital Rzeszów. The county covers an area of 503.36 square kilometres (194.3 sq mi). As of 2019 its total population is 61,505, out of which the population of Strzyżów is 8,884and the rural population is 52,621.
