Kings Park, Victoria

Kings Park is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 20 km north-west from Melbourne's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Brimbank. At the 2011 Census, Kings Park had a population of 8,331. Kings Park was named after the King family whose farm formed much of the land the estate was developed on. Kings Road which forms the eastern boundary was also named after the King family and the family farm house was located on Kings Road near the current intersection with Grevillea Road.
