Persipura Jayapura

Persipura Jayapura, or Persipura, is an Indonesian football club based in Jayapura, Papua. The club was founded in 1963 and currently competes in the Indonesia Soccer Championship A. Persipura plays their home matches in Mandala Stadium. Persipura became the first Indonesian team to reach the semi-finals of AFC Cup, a major continental competition, in 2014. Other than that, they have produced many players that have been used by the Indonesia national team such as, Rully Nere, Eduard Ivakdalam, Boaz Solossa, Ricardo Salampessy, Ian Louis Kabes, Imanuel Wanggai, Titus Bonai, and so on.
