Pleiades is a community-built gazetteer and graph of ancient places. It publishes authoritative information about ancient places and spaces, providing unique services for finding, displaying, and reusing that information under open license. It publishes not just for individual human users, but also for search engines and for the widening array of computational research and visualization tools that support humanities teaching and research.

The Phoenician shipwreck of Xlendi (Malta) was discovered in 2008, thanks to a systematic sonar survey of the coasts around Malta and Gozo. This study was supervised by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage in order to uncover all the underwater archaeological remains lying in the Malta's territorial waters.

The Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM), the United States' first collection of American art, is the home to one of the largest and most inclusive collections of American art in the world. Its artworks reveal America’s rich artistic and cultural history from the colonial period to today, with more than 7,000 artists are represented in the collection, The museum has been a leader in identifying and collecting significant aspects of American visual culture, including photography, modern folk and self-taught art, African American art, Latino art, and video games. The museum has the largest collection of New Deal art and exceptional collections of contemporary craft, American impressionist paintings, and masterpieces from the Gilded Age, and maintains six online research databases with more than a half million records, including the Inventories of American Painting and Sculpture that document more than 400,000 artworks in public and private collections worldwide.

The GVP Ontology defines classes, properties and values (skos:Concepts) used in GVP LOD. As of version 3.0, it is complete regarding AAT, TGN and ULAN, and will be extended in time with more elements needed for other GVP vocabularies (CONA).

De WO2-thesaurus is een gevalideerde, hiërarchisch georganiseerde trefwoordenlijst voor de thematische ontsluiting van (digitale) bronnen uit de periode 1940-1945. De thesaurus, beheerd door het NIOD, bevat bijna 4500 termen over gebeurtenissen, plaatsen, begrippen en objecten uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De trefwoorden zijn verdeeld over een aantal hoofdgebieden als Vervolging, Bestuur, Dagelijks Leven, Recht, etc. Tevens bevat de WO2-thesaurus een uitgebreide lijst van kampen en getto's in zowel Europa als Nederlands Indië; inclusief GPS coordinaten.

Deze dataset omvat de beschrijving van ca. 300 items uit beeldbank van Regionaal Archief Zutphen die gerelateerd zijn aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog.

GN is intended to aid cataloging, research, and discovery of art historical, archaeological, and other scholarly information. However, its unique thesaural structure and emphasis on historical places make it useful for other disciplines in the broader Linked Open Data cloud. For GIS information, TGN may be linked to existing major, general-purpose, geographic databases.

Downloads include all available metadata of objects in the Rijksmuseum collection. The metadata is structured in the Dublin Core, Europeana Data Model and LIDO schemas.

The Europeana Data Model (EDM) is aimed at being an integration medium for collecting, connecting and enriching the descriptions provided by Europeana data providers.

The countries of the world, from 1920 untill today. This dataset includes state boundaries and capitals and is coded according to the Correlates of War and the Gleditsch and Ward (1999) state lists.
