Serbs in North Macedonia

Serbs (Macedonian: Србите во Северна Македонија, Serbian: Срби у Северној Македонији, romanized: Srbi u Severnoj Makedoniji) are one of the constitutional peoples of North Macedonia. Numbering about 36,000 inhabitants (2002 census), they are based on the medieval populations, as well as on the 20th century Yugoslav policy of serbianization, and on later relocation or migration of ethnic Serbs.
